Those nine-digit numbers will tell you of the financial entities’ location and where it is being processed across the US. Once you learn how to read routing numbers, this will be more efficient for you.
To start, the first four digits will tell you of the specific state where the gambling database bank is located. If you are not familiar with this information, there are 12 Federal Reserve States that use specific codes. Here are the codes for your reference:
01 Boston. Boston. Connecticut (excluding Fairfield County), Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont
02 New York. New York State, twelve counties in northern New Jersey, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, and Fairfield County in Connecticut.
