Industry 3.0 - The computer that transformed the accountant
The advent of computers in the 1960s and 1970s brought even more dramatic changes to humanity. First personal computers, then laptops, tablets, and finally the Internet. The history of accounting is particularly illustrative. In the 1970s, accountants sat with huge books, counting by hand, using calculators. In the 1980s, the advent of Excel changed everything. Accountants who could not learn to use computers lost their jobs. Those who did became more efficient, more in demand, and better paid.

In the 2000s, the Internet penetrated every home. Think of dial-up modems, the sound of dialing a phone number and waiting for a call - you probably remember that. It took 5-10 minutes to download a single photo.
The advent of the iPhone in 2007 marked the end of the Industry 3.0 era – a phone, computer, camera, map, wallet, and book were combined into one device.
